Janet Willis gives evidence, both biblical and extra-biblical, about the shape of New Jerusalem. Ezekiel connects Eden, the Mountain of God, and Satan’s fall (Ezek 28:11-19). It is possible that Adam and Eve. and even Noah. knew what the exterior of the Mountain of God looked like. This might have been part of the motivation of post-Flood people groups to construct Babel and later pyramids. This possibility connects with extensive biblical evidence that our future home, New Jerusalem is shaped like a mountain.
