Time to Push Back on Slogans from Those Who Deflate Your Study of Bible Prophecy

Play

Dr. Alan Kurschner played a brief clip from his introduction at a Bible Prophecy seminar in the Salt Lake City Area. He opened up this seminar by responding to various platitudes that others often make that sound pious on the surface but are not biblical reality.

These platitudes are intended to discourage and deflate your desire to study eschatology, especially on the second coming of Christ. However, when these platitudes or slogans are examined in the light of  Scripture, they are shown to be vacuous statements.

Some of these platitudes include:

“What only matters is the fact that Jesus is returning.”

“It will all ‘pan out’ in the end.”

“This doctrine divides the church.”

“Who are you to think that you have the right answer?”

“Theologians have been debating this for centuries.”

“There are so many views out there.”

Dr. Kurschner responded to these unbiblical platitudes with counter-biblical truths from Jesus, Paul, and the book of Revelation.

Prewrath Rapture: An Overview of End Time Events, Part 1 of 2 (Roger Best)

In this opening session, Roger Best tackles a question many Christians are asking in a world marked by conflict, upheaval, and spiritual confusion: *What does the Bible actually teach about the end times?* With so many prophecy books and teachers offering competing timelines, this message aims to clear the fog by returning to Scripture and laying a foundation for understanding end-time events—especially the timing of the rapture in relation to tribulation and God’s wrath.

Why We Preach the Cross, but Whisper the Crown?

In this episode of Bible Prophecy Answers, Dr. Alan Kurschner challenges a common imbalance in modern evangelism: many Christians boldly proclaim the cross (Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection) while rarely proclaiming the crown—the second coming of Christ, His kingdom reign, and His coming judgment. The result is a “truncated” message that often omits what the host calls the full gospel of the kingdom.
