Jake McCandless begins a series in which he flips the field. Typically, he approaches his episodes providing help and encouragement to stand firm, but in this episode, he speaks to co-laborers—you. Often on this podcast, and in pre-wrath prophecy circles, we talk about the need to prepare and what needs to be prepared for. This is needed, but a discussion on being a “preparer of others” has been scarce. Most students of Bible prophecy want to share their findings with others, warn them, and help them prepare. Whether they use the term they are a watchman—you are a watchman. Jake talks about the call and responsibility of being a watchman or watchwoman.
As watchmen, we should desire to see, warn, and help others prepare as well as we can. Unlike most prophetic voices in history, watchmen today have had a “test run”. They’ve had a “shot across the bow”. That test and warning shot was the Covid19 Pandemic and the faith fallout from it. Those who were tracking in Bible prophecy beforehand had the unique experience of being warned, called to try to warn, and then seeing it come to pass in some way. This warning shot is extremely valuable and needs to be reflected upon. In this series Jake just does just that.
What lessons can be learned prophetically from covid?
Jake dives into one lesson that though awkward to articulate needs to be to help us be better watchmen. This lesson is that you were right. If you were right then leaning into the same seeking of the Lord should lead to you being right again.
